Amanda M. Jacobs, M.D., is a board-certified specialist in adolescent medicine and in pediatrics at Boston Children’s Health Physicians  (BCHP) in Hawthorne, New York, and the section chief of adolescent medicine at Maria Fareri Children's Hospital, with over 20 years of experience in the specialty. Her clinical expertise focuses on the treatment of medical and mental health issues, including adolescent gynecology, contraception (including IUD and implant insertion, removal, and care), eating disorders, medication treatment of depression/anxiety, LGBTQ care, and adolescent primary/preventative care.

Before coming to BCHP, Dr. Jacobs worked as an attending physician and assistant professor of pediatrics in the Division of Adolescent Medicine at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore for eight years. She also served as the director of health services at a New York City agency serving children in foster care and juvenile justice. Previously, Dr. Jacobs worked as an adolescent medicine specialist in private practice in Westchester County.
