Mariya Ledoux, M.D., is a fourth-year resident in obstetrics and gynecology at Westchester Medical Center, with a clinical focus on breastfeeding medicine, sexual health, and integrating family planning into medical education and patient care. Born in Russia and raised in New York City, she earned her medical degree from the Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University, building a strong foundation in reproductive health and patient-centered care.
Prior to medical school, Dr. Ledoux conducted research at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology on neural mechanisms underlying learning and memory and contributed to therapeutic development for ALS at Biogen, experiences that strengthened her scientific expertise and commitment to evidence-based medicine. She is dedicated to advancing patient care, advocacy, and education, with a particular passion for supporting breastfeeding patients, improving access to sexual and reproductive health services, and fostering robust medical education in these areas.
