Gladys Lee-Hwang, M.D., FACOG, is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology and serves as the director of labor and delivery at NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan. In this role, she leads patient safety initiatives to improve maternal and fetal outcomes and reduce morbidity and mortality among a vulnerable population. Dr. Lee-Hwang is dedicated to comprehensive women’s health across the lifespan, from adolescence to menopause, and is deeply committed to the education and mentorship of residents and medical students. Throughout her career, she has focused on serving the East Harlem and immigrant communities.
