Lauren Matera, D.O., M.P.H., is a board-certified specialist in adolescent medicine and pediatrics. She has a strong commitment to adolescent health, with expertise in LGBTQ+ youth health, gender diversity, gynecologic care, menstrual issues, IUD and contraceptive implant procedures and care, eating disorders, and mental health.

Dr. Matera is a recognized educator and advocate, having presented at national conferences and developed training programs to enhance healthcare providers’ understanding of LGBTQ+ health and reduce disparities in care. She is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine.
