Daniel Zelazny, M.D., is a Board-certified, dual fellowship-trained (sports medicine and ortho trauma) orthopedic surgeon at Westchester Medical Center. He is the head team physician for Marist University, a Division 1 collegiate athletic program in Poughkeepsie, New York.
A member of the faculty at NYMC and the staff of Westchester Medical Center (WMC) since 2000, Dr. Zelazny has served in several administrative and clinical roles in the hospital, including president of the medical staff at WMC, chief medical officer of Mid Hudson Regional Hospital, and director of the Orthopedic Surgery Residency Program.
Dr. Zelazny interacts with NYMC students regularly and has been a faculty investigator on several research papers. In addition, he has either chaired or been faculty for several society conferences, such as the AAOS Part 2 Board Review Course, and served as a Master Instructor for the Arthroscopy Residents Course sponsored by AANA.
