Middle States Commission of Higher Education (MSCHE) Accreditation Self-Study Milestones

NYMC is engaging in a comprehensive “standards based” Self-Study review model that will enable the College to confirm its alignment with the seven Middle States Commission of Higher Education (MSCHE) Standards of accreditation as well as the requirements of affiliation and verification of compliance with federal regulations. This model will allow us to thoroughly address all the standards, identify areas of strength and compliance as well as areas that would benefit from additional analysis and evolution in methodologies through continuous quality improvement (CQI). The Self-Study will also provide the College with the opportunity to come together to reflect on who we are, where we want to go, and to assess our progress, particularly in regard to NYMC’s strategic priorities. This beneficial process will encompass the work of the entire college community as we Assess the Present to Position for Our Future.
