How to Apply

General Information
Applications will only be accepted through ERAS, the Electronic Residency Application Service. No applications or supporting materials, e.g. letters, score reports, etc., will be accepted via mail or fax. A minimum USMLE score of 220 in all exams with first attempts is required for consideration. Application deadline is December 30th.

International Medical School Graduates

  • If all requirements are met prior to submitting our rank list, we sponsor J-1 and H1-B visas. A process that must be discussed during the interview and is subject to availability for eligible candidates.
  • We will not interview an International Medical Graduate without ECFMG certification.
  • US clinical observerships/rotations are not required but are helpful.

Program Size and Application/Interview Notification Process
A committee reviews the applications to determine if an interview will be granted. Due to the volume of applications received we will not be able to interview all applicants. Our interview session starts in October and ends in February, with limited interviews between Christmas and New Year holidays. We conduct all interviews on weekdays, and do not interview on weekends.

If selected for an interview, you will receive an invitation via the messaging portal on ERAS. All interview schedules are done through the ERAS scheduler. Application status is never communicated to applicants by phone. We do not provide updates on an application. Due to our very high number of applicants, we apologize that we will not be able to notify you if you are not selected for an interview.

* Virtual interview for 2023-2024 Match

We will continue virtual interviews using the Webex platform. Applicants are selected on the basis of residency program-related criteria including preparedness, ability, aptitude, academic credentials (medical school grades, USMLE scores), communication skills, and personal qualities such as motivation and integrity. Prior graduate medical education training, where applicable, will also be considered. Once the candidates are chosen for interview by the residency selection committee, applicants will be notified of their selection for interview through ERAS, and will set up an interview day; the invitation letter will include specific instructions how to schedule an interview and the details of the virtual format.

Applications for positions in our residency program will be processed through ERAS (Electronic Residency Application Service). Inquiries concerning the program can be addressed through the ERAS messaging platform. Contact information can be found on the contact section.
