Erika Kessel is in her last year of her MSW program at New York University. She loves being a part of the SMHW clinical team at NYMC and bringing her passion for helping others to her work as an intern. Prior to getting her social work degree, Kessel spent a decade working in television, film and editorial as a prop stylist and set decorator. She also has an M.S. in Communication Design from Pratt University. For many years, Kessel volunteered at various schools teaching children about food security and sustainability. Kessel recently moved back to Westchester with her family and enjoys walking the trails, getting back into horseback riding and getting to know the community.
