Course Description:

An examination of the fundamental mechanisms of action potential propagation, synaptic transmission, and receptor potential generation. The course involves reading original research reports, but will emphasize an understanding of fundamental principles rather than an accumulation of research data from the experimental literature.

Prerequisites: PHYM 1010 and PHYM 1020
