Dual Doctorate Degrees
The combined M.D./Ph.D. program is intended to provide the opportunity for research-oriented medical students to pursue both degrees. NYMC School of Medicine students may choose to also enroll in a Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences Ph.D. program in biochemistry and molecular biology; cell biology; microbiology and immunology, pathology; pharmacology; or physiology. SHSP Dual and Joint Degree Options
For those who wish to broaden their skills, knowledge and career options, NYMC School of Health Sciences and Practice offers a Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) dual degree option for students in the M.D. and D.P.T. programs, as well as a joint degree MPH option for Touro students in the D.D.S. or Pharm.D. programs.
