Course Description:

Health care managers and other professionals are burdened with a blizzard of data and information. This course focuses on how to use information effectively in decision-making and managing organizations. Practical approaches to design, data collection and analysis are presented. Students explore ways to make software work to improve presentations from simple Excel to sophisticated e-analytics. In addition, innovative uses of technology in healthcare and the life sciences are discussed.
