The mission of New York Medical College (NYMC) Health Services is to ensure students have the resources needed to meet the health requirements for their clinical and laboratory rotations, manage the follow-up for exposure to communicable diseases, care for students with episodic illness and refer students who need ongoing care to appropriate resources. In addition, the mission of NYMC Health Services is to ensure the safety of laboratory personnel through the provision of an occupational health program for students and personnel working in laboratories and in the Department of Comparative Medicine.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, NYMC Health Services manages the isolation, quarantine, and contact tracing of students and employees as well as issuing COVID-19 policies and assisting with surveillance testing and COVID-19 vaccinations.
