New York Medical College and TCDM prioritize the mental health and wellness of its students through comprehensive services managed and/or provided by The Office of Student Mental Health and Wellness (SMHW). Students may access a myriad of services at no cost and with utmost attention to confidentiality. Services include psychological counseling, advocacy, psychiatric evaluation, consultation, psycho-educational events, workshops, support groups, and wellness programs. Our providers uphold the values of the office: confidentiality, professionalism, respect, empathy, and awareness with the goal of providing services and encouraging skills to enhance the quality of life and promote well-being. An individual introductory consultation is also available to discuss services and align options that best support each student during their time at NYMC.

  • October 1 through March 31 (Fall/Winter):
    • 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 PM Monday to Thursday; 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Friday
  • April 1 through September 30 (Spring/Summer):
    • 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday

All services are available via telehealth and in-person, by appointment only.
Same-day appointments are possible.
