Events

Our annual events are one way you can maintain close ties to NYMC, reconnect with old classmates and professors, and make new friends and contacts, and have fun. Meet with fellow members of the NYMC Community (alumni, friends, faculty and more), hear updates from leadership and learn more about ways to stay connected with your alma mater.

Interested in hosting an alumni event in your area and/or want more information about upcoming and past events? Contact us. To stay updated on all national and regional events, join NYMC Connect.

Annual Events

Reunion

Each fall, we welcome NYMC alumni back to campus to celebrate milestone anniversaries, renew old ties, and make new connections. Join us as a guest, or help us plan the reunion as a chair/co-chair. Contact Alumni Relations to learn more.

Day of Giving

Every spring, alumni and friends come together for this 48-hour crowdfunding campaign to raise much-needed funds for student scholarships. All gifts made to scholarships during Days of Giving can be earmarked for a school or program of your choice, and are matched 1:1 by a group of generous donors. NYMC provides more than $6 million in scholarship funding each year. With increased scholarship support, students can focus on their studies rather than worrying about crippling loan debt. Without scholarship support, many of the brightest NYMC graduates might not have been able to attend at all.

Founder's Dinner

The Founder’s Dinner is our signature, annual fundraising event, where hundreds of academic, healthcare, business, and community leaders come together to celebrate NYMC’s proud history and promising future, and to honor distinguished community leaders for their impactful and transformative achievements.  Funds raised from the Founder's Dinner support our efforts in educating the next generation of physicians and healthcare providers, and conducting life-saving biomedical research.

Golf

Hosted by the NYMC Board of Advisors, this annual tournament offers a day of fun for a great cause at Saint Andrew's Golf Club, the oldest golf club in the United States. The event begins with a shotgun start on the 18-hole golf course designed by golf course architects William H. Tucker and Harry Talmadge. There is plenty of fun, food and games throughout the afternoon, followed by an evening dinner and awards ceremony in the clubhouse. Join us!
