Substance Use/Overuse
The AIMS program at New York Medical College (NYMC) was developed to address the risk of development of alcohol and substance abuse problems in medical school students. While there is a specific program for SOM students, the process and protocol are universally applied to all students, in every graduate program at NYMC/TCDM. We can support you regardless of the program you are enrolled in. We also suggest referencing your program's handbook.
The primary purpose of the program is to identify, prevent and treat impairments related to alcohol or other substance abuse.
