Professional Interests:

My clinical background is in musculoskeletal and orthopedic manual physical therapy, with a focus on the non-operative care of persons with work-related injuries. Academically, I have several overlapping interests: investigating how value-based physical therapy can help meet individual and public health needs in the US health care system; elucidating the determinants of expenditures and utilization for physical therapy; investigating the effectiveness of web-based ergonomics and physical therapy tools. My main teaching responsibilities are in PT 6006: Kinesiology, PT 6012: Clinical Sciences in Physical Therapy II, PT 6013: Clinical Sciences in Physical Therapy II, and PT 7092: Advanced Seminar: A Leadership Symposium.
